Wednesday 2nd July, 2025, Scarborough: The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) is thrilled to announce that Tobago has been nominated in the Most Desirable Island(s) Worldwide category of 2025 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, having placed among the magazine’s top four most desirable islands in the world for the past three consecutive years.
Wanderlust is one of the United Kingdom’s largest and longest-running travel magazines, having been at the forefront of authentic and responsible travel for over 30 years. Celebrating the best in travel around the world, the 2024 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards attracted over 168,000 readers who took part in casting 3.5 million votes for the most desirable destinations, tour operators and travel brands. This year, over 200,000 individual voters are expected.
Tobago has seen prior success in the Most Desirable Island (World) category at the awards, having placed fourth in 2024, third (Bronze Award) in 2023, and second (Silver Award) in 2022, signalling the island’s continued appeal as a desirable destination among global travellers.
