As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Tobago’s position as a prime travel destination for UK travelers, the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) recently participated in Unite Caribbean, an annual trade event held on Monday 10th March, 2025 in London.

Often viewed as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for UK and European-based tour operators and Caribbean suppliers, Unite Caribbean offered an intensive schedule of B2B discussions, with TTAL representatives meeting with over twenty (20) existing and new partners to strengthen marketing efforts while highlighting exciting tourism developments across the island. These included the upcoming opening of the new airport terminal, accommodation enhancements, new visitor experiences, and developments in Tobago’s vibrant festival and ecotourism sectors.

The positive sentiment from UK-based tour operators and travel agents was evident, with many existing partners reporting increased bookings for 2025 compared to 2024—a promising indicator of Tobago’s growing popularity among UK travelers. The meetings also provided an excellent platform for TTAL to pursue new partnerships and explore fresh marketing opportunities including new tours, bespoke travel packages, joint promotions and other collaborations to enhance the visitor experience.

Following Unite Caribbean, team TTAL will continue to work closely with tourism partners to build on these opportunities, among other efforts to drive bookings and travel from the UK. With ongoing investments in infrastructure, destination marketing, and partnerships with key tour operators, Tobago is well-poised for continued success in attracting discerning travelers seeking authentic Caribbean experiences.
